Farm museum Edelweiss-Alm
See how the farmers lived in the past
In summer, the Edelweiss-Alm in Wagrain draws visitors with its traditional farm museum.
This attraction awaits everyone, especially families, with an array of fascinating impressions.
The Edelweiss-Alm is situated on the Weberlandl, a sunny plateau in Wagrain.
This popular attraction is easy to reach. From the village of Wagrain, an easy hiking path, a short mountain-bike trail and an access road for cars and buses all lead out to the Edelweiss-Alm. The farm museum, with the very authentic atmosphere of an Alpine hut, is open all summer long and during Harvest Festival in the autumn.
A special highlight every week is the campaign "Living farm museum", where original farmers bread is baked in a stone oven and locals show, how the farmers in the past produced their rural tools.
