Multimedia content: Not all videos have subtitles or audio descriptions.
PDF documents: Older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. - Disproportionate burden

Enforcement Procedure

Complaints are reviewed by the FFG to determine whether they relate to violations of the Web Accessibility Act's provisions, particularly deficiencies in compliance with accessibility requirements by the federal government or an entity associated with it.
If the complaint is justified, the FFG is to issue recommendations for action to the federal government or the affected legal entities and propose measures to eliminate the existing deficiencies.
With the entry into force of the Accessibility Act (BaFG) on June 28, 2025, those affected by violations of accessibility requirements can contact the Social Ministry Service as the market supervisory authority.
