After a day out and about, there’s nothing better than cooling off in the pool. Our heated outdoor pool is right here at Appartements Schattauer – perfect for a refreshing swim, some fun in the water or simply relaxing in the sunshine.
While the children splash and play, parents can unwind on the sunbathing lawn and enjoy the mountain views. And with the pool just steps from your apartment, a refreshing dip is always close at hand.
The pool is open from mid-May to early October and heated to a comfortable 26–30°C, depending on the weather.

In winter, Snow Space Salzburg is just minutes away, offering wide, perfectly groomed slopes, modern lifts and skiing for every level. Beginners can take their first turns with the local ski schools, while experienced skiers have a vast ski area to explore.
But winter in Wagrain is about more than skiing. Tobogganing, ice skating, cross-country skiing and winter walks offer a change of pace away from the slopes. Or slow things down completely with a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snowy landscape.

Children can enjoy our indoor playroom, outdoor playground, trampoline, table tennis and plenty of space to play. In summer, our heated outdoor pool is another favourite with younger guests.
Do you provide equipment for babies and toddlers?
Yes. Cots, high chairs, changing mats, nappy bins, step stools, bed guards and other useful baby equipment are available free of charge on request. In summer, we can also provide a buggy or child carrier, and in winter, sledges are available.
Is the Wasserwelt Wagrain included in our stay?
Yes. Admission to Wasserwelt Wagrain is included for our guests, giving you another great option for swimming and water fun during your holiday.
Are the apartments suitable for larger families?
Yes. Our apartments come in different sizes and layouts, with several options offering multiple bedrooms and generous living areas. Depending on the apartment, we can accommodate up to ten guests.
What can families do in Wagrain in summer?
There is plenty to choose from: easy hikes, bike rides, swimming, family attractions such as Wagrainis Grafenberg and numerous day trips throughout SalzburgerLand. We are always happy to share our personal recommendations.
Is Wagrain suitable for a family ski holiday?
For sure. Wagrain offers family-friendly slopes, ski schools and beginner areas, while the ski bus stop is only around 50 metres from our apartments. The Grafenberg gondola and ski schools can be reached quickly and easily.
