The Lucky Flitzer in Flachau promises plenty of fun for the whole family with its exciting alpine coaster. Down in the valley, a small amusement park offers even more attractions and activities, especially for younger children.

Liechtensteinklamm
The Liechtensteinklamm gorge in St. Johann is one of SalzburgerLand’s most impressive natural attractions. The walkway takes you deep into the gorge, between towering rock walls, across bridges and past thundering waterfalls, all the way to the spectacular Helix spiral staircase.

Eisriesenwelt Werfen
Just a 25-minute drive from Appartements Schattauer, Eisriesenwelt Werfen takes you into a fascinating world of ice and rock. With a total length of more than 40 kilometres, it is the largest ice cave in the world.
Even the journey up is part of the experience, with a cable car ride and spectacular mountain views. Inside the cave, impressive ice formations and frozen waterfalls create a truly unique atmosphere. An extraordinary natural wonder and an unforgettable experience in the Salzburger Land.

Other highlights include the mighty Krimml Waterfalls, cascading down a total of around 380 metres, and the Kaprun High Mountain Reservoirs, where turquoise waters, impressive dams and a dramatic alpine landscape create a truly memorable setting.
